Filming
We encountered a number of problems over the course of 4 lessons of filming:-
* using a working office as the filming location was difficult as we had to deal with occasional interruptions. However, some filing could be done while the office was occupied as the scene used a lot of close ups.
* we had to perform a risk assessment as we used stage combat. However, Lewis and Sam were both comfortable with their use of stage combat and there were no incidents.
* Rosie was Ill on day 3 of filming and left half way through. However, the remainder of the filming day was used for further planning and capturing footage.
* At one point there was a shortage of tripods. However, we combated this by filming shots that did not require the use of a tripod such as the handheld shot.
* It was originally planed to use "In The Mood" by The Glenn Miller Band. However, this was not possible due to copyright law.

3. close up of Tommy playing with his teeth
4. Turkish looks at Tommy in close up, then towards the unknown character in front of them.
5. Mid shot of Turkish and Tommy while Turkish's voice over continues.
6. Close up of Tommy looking around the room.
7. Close up of turkish looking around the room.

Clerks opening
Today we analysed the opening of 'Clerks' (Kevin Smith) into sections of camerawork, representation, mise-en-scene, sound and editing. We found that the opening consisted of predominantely middle shots with many close-ups that were used to highlight details. There was non-diagetic sound of fast-paced rock music, reflecting the era the piece is set in, being the 90s. There is a strong representation of the middle class in the scene.
